Ethan is still having some breathing issues. We took him to the doctor this evening and the doctor wants to take a "wait and see" approach. Most likely, it is nothing serious, just a slightly soft trachea which he will outgrow.
We have had some very nice visits the past couple of weeks. Two weekends ago, Steve's parents visited. Last weekend, my parents and Godparents visited. Then, Lindsay came to visit and we went to the zoo- it was cold but fun. Ethan has really enjoyed himself (as well as Steve, Wendy and me)!
Ethan is still jumping a lot. In fact, he continues to jump even when he is not in his "Jumperoo". He tries to jump during his bath, while eating and while lying down! Speaking of baths- yesterday I was pouring some water on his tummy from his favorite red cup and he reached up and "felt" the water. His eyes were twinkling with concentration and one could just imagine all of the new neural connections being reinforced by these new thoughts/feelings. The next morning, while at the sink with Ethan on my hip, I poured some water from a cup and again he reached for the stream.
